Instructions
Pour 1 cup quinoa into a fine strainer; rinse thoroughly under running water. Put rinsed quinoa into a 10-12 inch frying pan over medium heat; cook, stirring frequently, until the grain dries and turns golden brown, about 15 minutes. Pour toasted quino from pan and let cool. Store in air tight container in a cool place.
When the seeds are toasted, the flavor becomes slightly nut-like. Use the toasted grain as you would nuts or seeds.
