Using electric mixer cream butter and sugar until very light - 2-3
minutes. Add vanilla. Blend. Add flour 1 cup at a time until
blended. Add potato chips. At this point I like to add the
potato chips by hand - not use the electric mixer. if you crush
the chips while still in the bag and then blend into the dough
using a large spoon the chips stay coarsely crushed. If you use
the mixer for this step - it kinda pulverizes them - and the
cookie is less crunchy.
