     Pie Crust

Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 cup shortening (prefer yellow Crisco)
1 tsp. salt
1/3 cup cold milk (can use cold water)
 

Instructions
In a large bowl mix flour, shortening and salt with a pastry blender until dough is fine and crumbly.
Stir in liquid with a fork until well blended, divide into two pieces with fork. (the dough will be a little sticky)
Using well-floured hands, place dough on well floured pastry cloth, (we use a rolling pin cover as well) and roll to fit pie pan.
Fold in half, and in half again and lift into pie pan. For a single pie shel,l poke holes in crust with a fork (sides & bottom) and bake at 425 for 15 min.
