     Pecan Pie

Ingredients
1 - 9 inch prepared pie crust
1/3 cup margerine or butter
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
1 cup white Karo syrup
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups halved pecans, may chop coarsely if desired
 

Instructions
Prepare 9 inch Pie crust with fluted edges. Line unbaked pie crust with 2 cups of pecans.
Place 1/3 cup margerine or butter into a bowl that can be microwaved. Melt. Add sugar, karo syrup, vanilla, flour and salt. Blend with a whisk. Add 3 eggs, whisk until all ingredients are blended. (You add the eggs last so that they won't cook from the heat of the hot melted butter) Pour liquid over the pecans in the pie pan.
Bake @ 350 for 45 minutes or until the middle of the pie no longer jiggles when the oven rack is moved. Remove from oven. Cool before serving. (This is Shelly's favorite pecan pie recipe) Yum Yum
