16 oz carrots
2 tbsp butter
1/3 cup brown suagr
1 cup water
salt/pepper
 

Instructions
in medium saucepan combine all ingredients. bring to boil over high heat.
reduce to medium heat and boil uncovered for 20-25 min or until tender and liquid evap.
