     Apple Crisp

Ingredients
6 medium apples (or fruit of season)
6 tsp white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
6 tbsp butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup flour
Ice cream or whipped cream
 

Instructions
Peel apples, slice and put in greased baking dish. Sprinkle with white sugar and cinnamon mixture. Dot with 2 tbsp butter.
Blend remaining 4 tbsp butter with brown sugar. Add flour, rolled oats an mix with fork. Spread crumbly mixture over apples.
Cover and back at 350 for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake until crust is golden brown and apples are tender (about 35 minutes).
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream
