     French apple pie

Ingredients
1 crust
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
dash of salt
6 cup sliced apples
 

Instructions
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Stir in apples. Turn into pastry lined pie plate.
Mix 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup butter until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of pie.
Bake 50 minutes. Cover topping with foil during last 10 minutes.
Best served warm.
