Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place sheets of foil on counters for cookies. Combine peanut butter, crisco, sugar, milk, and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Add egg and blend.
Combine flour, salt, and, soda. Add to creamed mixture. Mix until blended.
Drop by tsp 2 inch apart on ungreased sheets. Flatten in X pattern.
(or use tenderizer side of meat mallet for large cookies)
Bake for 7-8 minutes.
