     Wild Rice

Ingredients
1 c. wild rice, uncooked
1/2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms, sauteed
1/2 c. diced onions, sauteed
1/2 c. diced green and/or red peppers, sauteed
1 T. oil
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
2 1/2 c. chicken broth
 

Instructions
Sautee vegetables, oil, salt, and pepper until mushrooms are golden brown.
Mix together rice and vegetables in slow cooker.
Heat chicken broth. Pour over ingredients in slow cooker, and cover. Cook on high 2 1/2 - 3 hours, or until rice is soft and liquid is absorbed.
