Cut apples into bite-size pieces. Put them into an oven resistant form of your choice.
Add water, lemon juice and cinnamon.
Mix flour with sugar and butter until well combined. You should be able to easily break pieces of dough off and spread over apples. I prefer bigger pieces. You can add more cinnamon if you like!!!

Cover and bake in oven for 35 to 40min. at 350F.
