Dissolve jello in 1/2 cup boiled water. Add cranberry sauce, salt, rind, and juice. Mix thoroughly. Chill until mixture begins to stiffen.

Beat egg whites with a hand mixer on high until stiff, then beat in sugar. Fold egg whites into cranberry mixture.
|
|
|
Pour filling into baked gram-cracker or pastry shell. Chill until firm. Serve topped with whipped cream, cranberry and lemon rind for garnishment.
