     chocolate pecan cookies

Ingredients
1 stick of butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of vanilla
1 tsp of salt
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
 
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp clove
1 cup of oats
2 cups chopped pecans
2 tsp orange zest
12 oz of chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. mix butter till soft, add sugar, mix till creamed. add salt and vanilla, beat for 3 min. add eggs one at a time.
Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, slowly. beat until mixed. add oats, pecans, orange zest, and chocolate chips.
drop by tablespoon rounds onto greased baking sheet. cook for 10-14 minutes.
