In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla until well mixed. Add butter and Crisco. Combine flour, cocoa and salt; stir into egg mixture and mix well. Add nuts. Line a 13x9x2 baking pan with parchment paper and grease. Pour batter into pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until brownies test done. Cool in pan.
Remove brownies from pan and cut into desired shape.
