     Salmon Croquettes

Ingredients
1 (15 oz.) can red salmon (Sockeye is best)
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Shortening for frying
 

Instructions
Mix salmon, salt, pepper, and eggs.
Add buttermilk, glour, and soda and mix well.
Drop by tablesppons into fairly deep hot shortening.
Fry until golden brown; turn once.
Serving Suggestions
Family favorite!
