     Worth Every Penne

Ingredients
Sauce-
2 T basil pesto
2 T balsamic vinegar
1 T olive oil
1 tsp honey
1/4 tsp pepper
2 c uncooked penne pasta
4 slices bacon chopped
 
3 c sliced mushrooms
1 c chopped red onions
3 big handfuls baby spinach.( I use whole container)
12 cherry tomatoes halved (so add a few more)
3 c chopped cooked chicken breast
1/4 c shaved parmesan cheese
ground pepper

Instructions
to prepare the sauce just whisk all ingredients together.
Cook penne according to directions. Drain and keep warm.
Cook bacon in a large skillet. Remove bacon and add mudshrooms and onions to the skillet. Cook about 5 min. Add spinach and tomatoes. Cook until spinach is wilted. Stir in chicken and cook till heated through. Add penne and mix weell. Add sauce and mix again. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with parmesan and pepper.
