Soften 1/2 gallon ice cream by letting it set out on the counter. It
softens more thoroughly if you try to dish out large spoonfuls
into a bowl as soon as it is soft enough to remove.
While ice cream is softening, mix the peanut butter and honey
together. The more they are whopped together the better
When the ice cream is soft, mix half of the peanut butter and
honey mixture into the ice cream.. It should be thoroughly mixed
in.
Spread the mixture evenly in the bottom of a 13x9.
Cover with tin foil or some other type of covering
Place this part in the freezer for about 2 hours.
Using the 2nd half gallon of ice cream repeat above steps.
Remove pan from freezer. Cover first layer of ice cream in the
pan with chocolate sauce
Spread the second layer of ice cream mixture over the chocolate
sauce. Re-cover and put back in the freezer for 6 hours.
Remove from the freezer, put remaining chocolate sauce on top of
ice cream and serve.
