Grandma Daisy's Rhubarb Cream Pie

1 1/2 cup sugar
|
|
3 Tablespoons flour
|
|
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
|
|
1 Tablespoon butter
|
|
2 eggs, well beaten
|
|
3 1/2 cup rhubarb, cut small (use fresh if you can)
|

1 pie shell (double crust)
|

|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Blend first four items. Add eggs; beat until
smooth. Pour over rhubarb which is in pie crust
Top with other crust. Cut several places to
ventilate.

Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes; reduce heat to
350 degrees for additional 30 minutes. Press the
edges of the crusts together before baking.
