Preheat oven 350.
Cream shortening, add br sugar, beat well. Add eggs & bananas, beat well. Sift together, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt & spices. Add to creamed mixture, mix well. add nuts. Drop by TBS onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 min. cool on wire rack. dip half of cooled cookies into powder sugar icing.
To make Icing. Combine 3 cups powered sugar, 1 TBS melted butter,and 3/4 tsp vanilla. Add milk at make desired consistency.
