Preheat oven to 350F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beating until fluffy.
In a medium bowl, combine dry ingrediants. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until combined. Stir in chips and pecans.
Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes until lightly browned. Let cool on pan for 2 minutes before removing to cooling racks to cool completely. Store in air tight containers.
