1 lb. ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped
|

24 oz pkg hashbrowns, thawed (southern style)

1 can cream of mushroom soup
|

1 c. sour cream
|

2 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

2.8 oz can french fried onions
|

Instructions |

|
Brown ground beef with onion and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Drain.
|
|
|
|
In large bowl, combine meat, hash browns, soup, sour cream and cheese. Spread in greased 9x13 baking dish.
|
|
|
|
Bake uncovered 40 minutes in 325 oven.
|
|
|
|
Top with french fried onions and bake for 10 more minutes.
|
