Note, you MUST use self rising flour! If you don't
have it, simply add 1 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1
tsp salt per cup of regular flour
Preheat oven to 425. Pour a thin layer of oil to
cover the bottom of pan and place in oven to heat.
Cut shortening into flour completely, add milk,
combine well. Drop the mixture into the hot oil in
your pan ans spread out. Bake for 15 minutes or
until top is lightly brown. Invert onto plate and
serve.
