Mix the cake mix, egg and cool whip together with a fork. Drop by teaspoon full into powdered sugar. (Dough is very sticky so use two teaspoons to aid in dropping.) Roll each into ball and place on cookie sheet sprayed with cooking oil.

Bake at 325 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown around edges. Do not overbake. Check often since ovens vary.

|
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, then move to wire rack.

Chocolate cake mix may be used instead of lemon to make chocolate cookies.
