Cook and stir hamburger and onion in butter in a 10 inch skillet until hamburger is light brown. Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms. Cook, stirring constantly,5 minutes. Stir in soup. Heat to boiling stirring constantly; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream; heat through. Serve over hot noodles.
