Place multigrain cereal in a small bowl with milk. Let stand for 10 minutes. Then add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, creamy peanut butter and egg. Mix until wet ingredients are moistened.
Spoon muffin batter into 12 greased muffin cups. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 24 to 29 minutes.
