Drain cherries; reserve 1 cup syrup. In a 2 quart jar, combine reserved syrup, brandyu and sugar; stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Stir in drained cherries. Store in tightly covered jar in cool place for two weeks.
They seem to get stronger, the longer they sit.
Juice is very good poured over a very moist chocolate brownie.
