Sift dry ingredients into ungreased 9x13 pan. (Or put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Beat for 2 minutes and pour in pan or layer cake pans.) Level off and make 3 holes in mixture with back of spoon. Into one hole pour vinegar, into 2nd hole the salad oil, and into the 3rd hole the vanilla. Pour water over all and blend thoroughly with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until done.
