Halve avocadoes and remove pits. Scoop out meat and place in bowl of food processor with blade in place.
Peel and roughly chop garlic and onions and add to food processor bowl.
Squeeze juice of lime, and add salt, cilantro, and hot sauce to food processor bowl. Whirl contents of food processor on low or high setting, depending on whether you prefer guacamole chunky or smooth. Chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Place guacamole in bowl and serve with tortilla chips.
