     Butterscotch Pie

Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 and 1/2 Tbsp granulated sugar
2 Tbsp flour
1 tsp cornstarch
4 egg yolks
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp butter
4 egg whites
6 Tbsp sugar
 
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pint milk
1/2 tsp salt - pinch

Instructions
Mix dry ingredients together. Add milk, egg yolks and butter. Stir over heat until thick. Place in cooked pie crust. Cover with meringue and bake
For merinque- beat egg whites stiff, add the 6 Tbsp sugar gradually and then the tsp of vanilla. Heap on to pie and bake for 15 minutes at 300 degrees.
