Put cereal in a 9 x 11 pan sprayed with cooking spray
Mix sugar and syrup in a pan, over medium heat bring to a boil.
Stirring frequently.
Once it boils remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter and vanilla, mix well
Immediately pour over cereal.
Mix to coat all of the cereal.
