Brown hamburger, pour off grease. Put potatoes & hamburger in water, add 5 boxes of gravy. Make gravy by directions on box. Boil until potatoes are almost done. drain all juice from can vegetables. add to gravy & potato mixture & simmer for about an hour. I discovered this recipe when stew meat went to 2.79 per pound & we were hard up for money cause Stan wouldn't work & I was working two jobs. It was a cheap thing to make & it was quick & I had to rest between the two jobs & raising three kids, most of you understand.
