     CHICKEN FRIED STEAK WITH WHITE SAUCE GRAVY

Ingredients
1/3 c plain flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 large eggs
1 tbsp water
4 4 oz cube steaks
1 1/2 c fine dry breadcrumbs
1/4 c butter
 
White sauce gravy
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour
1 c milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions
Combine flour, salt & pepper, set aside. Combine eggs & water, set aside. Dredge steaks in flour mixture, dip in egg mixture & dredge in breadcrumbs. Melt better in large nonstick skillet oven medium heat, add cube steaks, fry 10 minutes, turning once. Top with white sauce gravy. White sauce gravy Melt butter in heavy sauce pan over low heat, add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute stirring constantly. Gradually add milk, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick & bubbly. Stir in salt & pepper. This is a recipe I got from my sister-in-Iaw Pam. This is what Pam Fugua fixes on Sunday for dinner.
