1 cup Basmati rice (soaked and boiled)

2 teaspoons jeera (cumin seeds)
|

2 tablespoons ghee
|

2 Bay leaves
|
|
2 cinnamon sticks
|

3 cloves

2 onions (sliced)

Salt to taste

Instructions |
|
|
1. Wash the rice and soak in water for half an hour.
2. Add ghee in a saucepan. Add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and fry for 3-4 minutes.

3. Add sliced onions and fry till slightly brown.
|
|
|
4. Add the rice , salt, water and stir. Cover with a lid and simmer the flame.
|
|
|
5. Cook until the rice is done.
