     Swiss Cheddar Fondue

Ingredients
1 large clove garlic, halved
1 1/2 cups dry beer or dry white wine
1/2 lb sharp cheddar cheese, coarsely grated
1/2 lbEmmennthaler (Swiss) or Gruyere cheese, coarsely grated
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Dash Tabasco sauce
Sourdough or regular French Bread cubed
 

Instructions
Rub the inside of the fondue pot with garlic. Heat the beer or wine almost to boiling. Dredge Cheese in flour; add by handfuls, blending each addition well. Add seasonings; serve with chunks of bread.
