Heat milk up to hot in the microwave. Mix in butter and stir until butter melts. Let cool down until not hot to the touch.
Combine 2 1/3 cups of flour, yeast, sugar and salt and mix well. Add in water, egg, and the milk/butter mixture , beat well. Add the remaining flour and move it to a flour board, and knead.
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest/rise for 10 minutes. Now it's time to prepare the cinnamon mixture- in a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter. Spray the flour board with flour and roll out dough into a roughly 12x9 inch rectangle. Spread the cinnamon/butter mixture on top of dough. Roll up dough, along the 12 inch side to a long roll. Cut the roll into 12 equal size rolls and place the rolls side up in 12 lightly greased muffin cups. Cover and let rolls rise. Rolls will puff up in about 30 minutes.
Turn on the oven and preheat it to 375 degrees. Once the oven reaches 375 degrees, bake the rolls in the oven for 15-20 minutes- watch and stop the oven when rolls turn lightly brown. Take the rolls out of muffin cups when warm.
