     Buttermilk Pie

Ingredients
1/3 cup soft butter
6 tablespoons flour
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups buttermilk
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 unbaked pie shells (bought or your own)
 

Instructions
Blend flour and butter together. Add beaten eggs, sugar, buttermilk and lemon. Mix all together well. Pour into 2 unbaked pie shells. Bake at 450 degress for 10 minutes; then reduce oven to 350 degrees and bake an additional 30 minutes. Test as for custard pie. Pie is done when a silver knife inserted in center comes out clean.
