Melt butter in pyrex dish. Mix sugar, flour & milk & then pour over the butter. Pour fruit over the top of that & then bake at 350 degrees until crust rises & browns, about 20 minutes. Optional- Right before it's done (about a minute) sprinkle a very light layer of sugar on top, this makes the crust a little sweeter & crisper.
This is a great recipe, it's easy & it tastes great. I've always had trouble with cobblers but this one always turns out great.
