     Chocolate Butter Frosting

Ingredients
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate
3 Tablespoons butter
pinch of salt
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cups sifted confectioners sugar
 

Instructions
Combine heavy cream, chocolate, butte rand salt in top of double boiler. heat over simmering water until chocolate melts. Transfer to small mixing bowl. Cool to room temperature. Beat egg and vanilla into chocolate mixture with electric mixer at high speed. Gradually beat in sugar until thick and spreadable.
