     German Pancakes with Buttermilk Syrup

Ingredients
German Pancake
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp melted butter
Buttermilk Syrup
1 1/2 cups sugar
 
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup butter
2 tbsp corn syrup
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla extract
Confectioner's sugar

Instructions
German pancake Place the eggs, milk,flour,and salt in a blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour the melted butter into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish. Add the batter and bake uncovered, at 400 degrees (375 convection) for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile in a saucepan, combine the first five syrup ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
Dust pancake with confectioner's sugar, serve immediately with the syrup.
Serving Suggestions
Goes well with bacons, may need to make two.
