1. Preheat oven to 250.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt shortening. Add sugar, syrup
or honey, and cinnamon; stir.
3. In a large bowl, mix the cereal, raisins and seeds or coconut.
Pour shortening mixture over cereal mixture and toss until well
coated.
4. Pour onto a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes. Stir
in pan and let sit for 10 minutes. Store in a resealable bag or
container.
