     Foolproof Fudge

Ingredients
3 (6 ounce) packages semi sweet chocolate chips (3 cups)
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
dash salt
1 cup chopped nuts
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
 

Instructions
In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly into aluminum foil lined tree shaped mold or 9 inch square pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Place fudge on cutting board; peel off foil. Garnish as desired or cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
