     Quick Beef and Vegetable Soup with Dumplings

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can (28 ounces) whole tomatoes, undrained
1/2 package (2.75 ounce) package onion soup mix (1 envelope)
1 package (10 ounce) frozen peas and carrots
1 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/3 cup milk
1 Tablespoon parsley flakes
 

Instructions
Cook and stir ground beef in Dutch oven until brown; drain. Stir in water, pepper, tomatoes, and soup mix (dry); bread up tomatoes with spoon. Heat to boiling; stir in peas and carrots. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Mix remaining ingredients; drop by heaping Tablespoonfuls into simmering soup. Cook uncovered 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
