     Chocolate Fudge Frosting

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1 Tablespoon light corn syrup
1 Tablespoon butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate (2 ounces) cut up
 

Instructions
Mix ingredients in saucepan, cover and cook until mixture boils. Remove cover and cook without stirring until a little dropped in cold water forms a soft ball (234 degrees). Remove from heat; cool. Add 1 Teaspoon vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread. Enough for 9 inch square of 13 x 9 inch oblong cake.
Note- When fudge-type frosting become too thick to spread, add a little cream as needed. When too thin...Sifted confectioners sugar.
