Meat sauce-
• Heat oil in a medium sized sauce pan over medium-high heat.
• Add onion and garlic to pan and saute 4-6 mins or until onions are soft.
• Add ground turkey, cook until white, removing the excess grease from pan.
• Add crushed tomatoes, wine, sugar, 1 tsp (5 ml). black pepper, 1 tbsp (15 ml). fresh Italian herbs, 1 tbsp (15 ml) fresh basil.
• Heat for 10 mins then reduce temperature to low-medium.
