In large bowl, coming the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a small bowl, beat eggs and vanilla and add to dry ingredients until just moistened. Fold in walnuts and cranberries (dough will be sticky)
Divide dough in half. On greased baking sheet, with lightly floured hands, shape each half into a 10 inch by 2 1/2 inch rectangle. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Carefully removed to wire racks and cool for 10 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board and cut diagonally with serrated knife into 1 inch slices. Please cut side down on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
In microwave, melt chocolate and shortening. Drizzle over biscotti.
