Preheat oven to 350. In a mixer beat applesauce, water, oil,
cocoa and sugar until smooth. Add flour, salt & baking powder
and mix until well combines. Pour batter into 2 greased pans
lined with parchment paper or coated in flour. Bake 30 minutes
or until firm in the middle. Let cool 30 minutes before inverting
onto a cooling rack. Cool to room temp. Frost with desired
frosting. FOR CUPCAKES- fill 24 paper lined muffin cups and
bake for 15 minutes.
