Ingredients
1 stick butter
1 cup milk, scalded
2 eggs, well beaten
2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons sugar
1 package yeast dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water
4 cups sifted flour
A little additional melted butter
 

Instructions
Add butter to scalded milk, allowing it to melt. Beat eggs in large bowl and add milk and butter, salt, and sugar. When cooled to luckwarm, add dissolved yeast. Beat in the flour with mixer until smooth. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled.
Punch down and put in greased bundt or angel food cake pan. Let rise to top of pan. Pour a little melted butter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Quick yeast bread often served in the south.
