This recipe was an old Boy Scout recipe from the 1950s and very hard to find!
Take an entire pineapple and toss at edge of fire or on top of a grate over the fire. Keep turning until it browns or blackens all the way around the sides. You will see juice bubbling through the skin. Remove from fire holding the green part. Peel off skin with a fork, then slice and serve! It would be really good with ice cream...and would give the girls something to make while the pineapple cooks!
I made 4 in camp last year, the girls loved them! Okay, so Ace ate one too...LOL
