1.Sift flour and 3/4 cut sugar together into a large bowl. With pastry blender, cut butter into flour mixture until well blended. Add beaten egg yolks and vanilla.
2.Mix dough together with your hands, using a kneading motion. Divide dough into four parts. Preheast oven to 325 degrees.
3.On a floured surface, roll out one section of dough at a time. Cut into shapes or circles. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. Re-roll and continue to cut leftover dough.
4.Beat egg whites slightly, add ground nuts and one cup of sugar. Spread a dollop of mixture on unbaked cookies. Bake for 10-12 minutes, allto to cool. Enjoy!
