Preheat oven to 350. Wash mushrooms quickly under running water, drain. Pull stems from mushrooms and chop finely. Melt butter in skillet over medium-low heat, and chopped stems and onion. Saute until tender.
SSSSTir in WOrcestershire sauce, bread crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper. Sprinkle salt over mushroom caps and fill with sauteed mixtre, mounding over the top.
Put 2 T of water in shalow dish, and arrange stuffed mushrooms. Bake for 20 minutes.
