Ingredients
2 lbs salt pork, diced
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup flour
8 cups milk
12 slices toast
 

Instructions
Fry salt pork until it is golden brown. Pour over the crisp pork a white sauce that is made in the following way. Melt butter, add flour and blend thoroughly, stirring constantly. Cook until smooth. Serve desert fish on toast.
